About the Event

This 2 hour event is designed for adults who want to chill out, connect, and create their very own hand painted matcha bowl!

This workshop is beginner-friendly and you’ll get to know the basics of underglaze painting on a bisque fired matcha bowl - all while enjoying matcha flavoured refreshments brought to you by Cheeky Matcha and El Cake Atelier 🫶🏻 Your bowls will be glazed and fired (free of charge) after the workshop to make them food safe and will be available for pick-up at the next Matcha Club Sydney Event or alternatively, we offer $12 shipping straight to your door.

Doors open at 1:45 PM, so feel free to arrive early, browse, and settle in for a 2:00 PM start.

What's included

• Glazing and firing to make your works food safe, microwave and dishwasher friendly

How it Works

• Our staff will have your table ready where you can paint your matcha bowl using our range of underglazes, with complete freedom to make it your own. 
• We’ll fire and glaze your masterpiece for you, making it food-safe, microwave and dishwasher-friendly.
• Your finished piece will be ready to collect at the next Matcha Club Sydney event—just bring your receipt or proof of purchase
• Alternatively, your finished bowl can be shipped directly to your door for an additional $12.00 after firing.

• Bring yourself and/or your favourite person, whether it be your lover, your bestie, your mum - all are welcome!
• Ideas ready to get painting
• An apron (optional)
